Barack Obama is the 44th president of the USA. He is our first African-American president. He grew up in Hawaii and his grandparents raised him most of the time. He went to college in New York and moved to Chicago
and became a community organizer to help people who were poor. He went back to school to become a lawyer. Then he went back to Chicago. He married Michelle Robinson and had two kids, Malia and Sasha.
President Obama designed a health care plan that gives all people good health care. But not all people like his plan for health care. They think that it will cost to much money for the government to pay. A majority of Americans
thought the plan is good. A majority of Congress voted yes to pass the health care bill and now it is a law. It is called The Affordable Care Act.
