Phil is a famous groundhog that comes out of his burrow on February 2 every year.  If Phil sees his shadow then he will go back in his burrow and there will be six more weeks of winter. If Phil comes out of his burrow without seeing his shadow spring will start early. People think that groundhogs have a sixth sense for predicting weather, but we do not know if they really do.
